The UTMB NHLBI Proteomics Center is pursuing both proteomics technology development and directed proteomics research to investigate total protein expression in order to obtain a more global understanding of biological phenomena. The overall theme of this Center is airway inflammation focusing on asthma, allergy, and respiratory viruses.
